In addition to gyro flight instruments, Castleberry Instruments &
Avionics provides a new line of electronic aircraft components
now offered as improved replacements to older units from other
manufacturers.

EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY
Included in the lineup is the TSO’d emergency power supply, the
Model EPU 28-24RMT series. This emergency power supply
produces a 14-, 24- or 28-VDC output for emergency  power for
instruments including a gyro display and a radio in case of total
aircraft electrical system failure. This is economical insurance in
a 7.5 pound package for aircraft frequently involved in IFR
operations. This EPU replaces the non-TSO’d Terra and AIM units
that are no longer in production.

INVERTERS
Castleberry now also produces the PAC-75, a new 28-VDC
electrical inverter. This 115 volt, 400 cycle, 75 watt unit is
designed to replace older units which have reduced power
capacity. The PAC-75 inverter is a TSO’d replacement for non-
TSO’d units including, AIM P-20, -21, and -21A.
